Another Run

So I ran for 20 min again today. 12:35 was mile one and I finished with 1.59 miles at the end of my 20 min.

It sucked. My shoulder killed in the beginning and towards the end it quit, but my shin splints just burned!!!!!!

Well I Suck....

I haven't run a whole lot this week...

I ran thursday, 12:05.

And I skipped Wed, Fri AND Saturday. Yesh!

I decided I'd better have a good run today.

12:52...SLOW! BUT, I did it on purpose because I wanted to run for 20 min today. I ran 1.6 miles in 20:09. It wasn't even that bad. I had no shin splints OR shoulder pain! Yeah! Thursday I had TERRIBLE shoulder pain. They both seem to come and go. I prefer when they both go....

I feel like I've started OVER

It's been hard lately. Like it was in the beginning. Today my time was 11:55. I had shin splints again. Suck.

I thought you were gone...

But you dang shin splints came back! Ouch. My whole leg was tingling from my ankle to my knee. It sucked. I hope they go away forever.

11:53.

Out of my Comfort Zone!

Well this run was way out of my comfort zone. I mean, lets get real, running is out of my comfort zone. Sitting is my comfort zone. I'm kidding, but I ran my mile in 12:13.

This is where I exit my comfort zone....I THEN ran an extra quarter mile, with an increase in speed AND incline. WOAH! Final time was 15:12ish? Not sure. I was too busy dying to remember correctly. It was tough. I was pretty "woozy" afterwards. I usually cool down with a light walk and completely stopped the tread mill because I was so hot and light headed. I gave myself a few minutes and decided i'd better walk it out a bit.

And my shoulder hurts. Surprise.

Are you happy now, Dad?

That's right 11:54.

My dad challenged me to beat my best personal time which was 12:05. He said try for 11:55...and I made it in 11:54! I told him, no at first, because i'm stubborn like that...But while I was running I thought, what the heck I might as well do it, so I did.

My shoulder still kills. It wasn't too bad of a run, though it still feels like time drags on. My last lap was hard again...but I sprinted it, faster than usual, so I could beat time.
