Out of my Comfort Zone!

Well this run was way out of my comfort zone. I mean, lets get real, running is out of my comfort zone. Sitting is my comfort zone. I'm kidding, but I ran my mile in 12:13.

This is where I exit my comfort zone....I THEN ran an extra quarter mile, with an increase in speed AND incline. WOAH! Final time was 15:12ish? Not sure. I was too busy dying to remember correctly. It was tough. I was pretty "woozy" afterwards. I usually cool down with a light walk and completely stopped the tread mill because I was so hot and light headed. I gave myself a few minutes and decided i'd better walk it out a bit.

And my shoulder hurts. Surprise.

  1. Do a bit of light lifting. Light! As in 10 to 20 pounds, 12 reps, 4 to 5 sets. This should strengthen your shoulder a little. Maybe that's what you need.
On the extra quarter-mile, I AM proud of Kelli! 15:12 is good.
